Lovell, one of our brave “astronaut kittens,” had the roughest start of his litter. He arrived critically ill with a severe eye infection, too tiny for surgery but too fragile to wait. With intensive care and round-the-clock love, he grew strong enough for the operation that saved his life. Today, he’s a thriving, happy boy — with one bright eye and a big heart that shines even brighter.

Lovell has blossomed into a sweet, gentle kitten who loves pets so much that his purr motor kicks in the second you touch him. His nickname, “One-Eyed Willie,” is worn with pride — he navigates perfectly with his single eye and can run, jump, and play just like any other kitten. While his brother Armstrong is usually the first to dive into mischief, Lovell takes a more cautious approach, preferring to sit back, observe, and then join in with steady confidence.

What Lovell lacks in recklessness, he makes up for in affection. He adores being close, leaning into scratches, curling up after playtime, and soaking up attention. He would love to find a forever home with Armstrong, his adventurous brother and best friend, but he’ll also thrive as a solo companion.
